Social

Dinner & Dance

The biggest event in our Social Calender has to be the Annual Dinner Dance. Held during February, it brightens up the dull days and gives every member the chance to meet other Club members, swap stories of the previous year's competition and re-live past experiences. It also allows members to get up to date with competitions, competitors, cars, gossip and preparations/plans for the new season.

The annual trophies are presented and we have a fine meal and service from our current venue, Leeds Castle. We also have dancing, to the Light and Sound Systems disco which is great fun so come along and join us.

Christmas

Through the darker months we have a Christmas festive gathering, currently co hosted with the Blackpalfrey Motor Club and the twice monthly meetings at Rianos, or other venues, also providing conviviality.

Fun and games are the order of the evening. Competitions are organised, usually between teams of opposing Club members to see who can drive remote controlled cars around a course in the fasted time, who can name the object in the bag, etc.

Summer

During the Summer there is usually a Fun Event at a friendly, local farm where we have a Barbecue with games using cars (mainly) as a means of getting from A to B. This may also involving doing laughable things with apples and oranges, buckets of water or in fact anything which ensures the non-dignified pursuit of fun and driving.

Others

The Club recently organised a visit to the Jaguar factory in Browns Lane, Coventry.
